Who We Are

EXCEL'ED was established in 2001 to support with the increasing demands placed on school finance staff. We specialise in the field of school financial management with an emphasis on both everyday working practices and strategic development.

Our experience dates back to the early days of Local Management of Schools and there has been much change since. In this ever expanding and demanding field we are at the forefront of the latest developments and constantly work to prepare schools to cope with change.

School Financial Management

Our main aim is to support the enabling process of school financial management, to help you help yourself, and to promote the continuing professionalism within our expanding field.

EXCEL'ED has developed an innovative set of financial management tools to ease the burden of financial control and promote good practice. We work closely with a number of Local Education Authorities and keep ahead of new DfES initiatives in schools, the latest of which is 3 year budget modelling.
